My Hispanic heritage, with deep Cuban and Venezuelan roots, inspires everything I do—from the colors I choose to the stories I tell through my art. I’ve personally faced anxiety and health challenges—especially after COVID—and I’ve found so much comfort in prayer, creativity, and coloring. That’s why I pour my heart into every book and illustration I create.

My coloring books for adults are more than just pages to fill—they’re meant to lift your spirits, help you relax, and remind you of your own worth. You’ll find my signature “Nenas,” uplifting illustrations, and sometimes a sprinkle of motivational quotes or biblical inspiration, all designed to encourage you.

My Path

My name is Annie Reyes, and I am a proud Hispanic artist, author, and entrepreneur with Cuban and Venezuelan roots. My creative journey began in my childhood in Venezuela, where my mother’s love for art filled our home with inspiration. I went on to earn a degree in graphic design and moved to Miami, where I painted murals and ran my own marketing business.

Although my focus shifted toward technology and a full-time role with a local nonprofit organization, my creative drive remained a guiding force. The challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 led me to prayer and a renewed connection with my artistic roots. During this period, I transformed everyday objects into over 500 commissioned artworks, bringing joy and solace to many during a time of global uncertainty. This pivotal experience rekindled my passion and set me on a new creative path.

By 2023, I began embracing digital tools like Procreate to refine my hand-drawn illustrations, embarking on a mission to share the therapeutic benefits of art through adult coloring books. I first create my illustrations by hand and then enhance them digitally, combining traditional artistry with modern techniques to offer unique and meaningful creative experiences. To date, I have published 15 coloring books on major online platforms like Amazon and Barnes & Noble. My books feature my signature “Nenas,” motivational quotes, and uplifting designs.

I am a certified art therapy practitioner, and my work has been recognized with several awards, including Best Coloring Book Author in Florida by Best of Best Review, the Global Recognition Award for Artistic Excellence and Community Impact, and was nominated for the Extraordinary Latinas Awards by United Latinas in the Connecting Communities category. Additionally, I was honored with the Female Voice Award 2024 in the Inner Peace Advocate category, a recognition celebrated at a special event in Las Vegas, highlighting my commitment to using art as a tool for healing and peace.

I am also a co-author of Extraordinary Latinas, Volume IV, which is already available on Amazon, recognized as a Best Seller, and currently ranked #1 in the New Releases category. This celebrated series highlights the journeys of influential Latinas across diverse fields, celebrating resilience, success, and self-discovery. My greatest reward, however, is knowing that my art brings comfort and inspiration to people around the world.”
